This is a great filter slowing down the shutter speed to blur motion. Example: In daylight maybe the slowest shutter speed available with a filter is 1/60 sec at F/22. By adding the Hoya 72mm Pro ND 100 Neutral Density Filter a shutter speed of 2 full seconds would be possible.
